The GGP Installer Awards 2024 is a celebration of the UK’s very best window, door and conservatory installers, and we’re delighted to have received an award!
This year, many industry leaders gathered for the awards ceremony at The Midland Hotel in Manchester, collaboratively celebrating various successes across window, door and conservatory installations.
We were absolutely delighted and genuinely overwhelmed to be nominated and win the Best Installation - Residential (up to £20,000) award, up against many other brilliant finalists, it has been an honour to receive this fantastic recognition.
Keeping to our family-run roots, Laura took over the business from her father 6 years ago, and with Kelly by her side, they have worked considerably hard to take the business further and broaden the services that can be offered to clients across the West Midlands. So, which home improvement project was it that deserved the winning title this year? Let’s get into some of the details of this exciting project for Hayley Windows!
Our lovely customer came to us with a brief to create a feature with his extension that would maximise natural light into the new extension area and show off the gable shape of the roof.
The critical success of this home improvement project was placed in the precision and meticulous attention to detail throughout the surveying and designing processes. This was to ensure that the bifold and top gable window lined up perfectly and all elements complemented each other in harmony, to be finished to the exceptional standard that we strive for.
But that wasn’t the finishing line for our window, door and conservatory installers. In true fashion, we wanted to take this project one step further for our customer and make this a completely bespoke installation. So, to tie the three components together, single door, bifold and window, we made bespoke aluminium pressings which were then powder coated to match the new windows and doors. As a result, this became a seamless join of all the products and ensured the same material was used throughout to create a stylish and sleek finish to this project.
