This month we decided to do something different for our feature, as the family business is on an exciting path we wanted to share some of the history and where it all began with you!

Hayley Windows was established back in 1994 and quickly became one of the largest UPVC retailers in the The West Midlands and surrounding areas.  Mike the managing director has been the driving force offering endless knowledge and a clear passion for ensuring his customers are getting the best products, designs and installation services. From the outset it was Mike’s desire to be different and break the mould of the negative connotations that can unfortunately surround our trade.

​It has been vital throughout the life of Hayley Windows to remain a family business, offering a consistent friendly and personable service. The companies members are as passionate and dedicated as Mike which has built up such a loyal customer base. The customers do all of the hard work when it comes to publicity meaning there is no need for persistent sales tactics or advertising.

Over the years Mike has been in business, as with any, there are constant obstacles to overcome. Mike explains ‘’An ongoing problem in our industry is finding good trades people who can work to the standards I expect.  We look after our fitting teams; they are a part of our Hayley Windows family! We ensure our teams do not feel under pressure to install at a fast rate comprising the standards for our customers, we expect care and attention to detail for every installation no matter how large or small. I have found that having this relationship with our teams ensures our standards are consistent and we have extremely skilled installation team members.’’

Hayley Windows is entering a new chapter as the company continues to grow, Kelly Easthope who has worked with Mike over the last 10 years has become a shareholder and explains  ‘’it really is a privilege to be offered the opportunity of growing with the business and keep driving the company forward.’’

Mike’s children have always shown an interest in the company with Leigh being involved over the past five years in-between overseas work commitments. Mike’s daughter Laura has recently made the move back to the Midlands from London where she had built up a successful career in the high end property industry. This experience enabled Laura to come into the business and have an immediate positive impact, developing Hayley’s online presence and introducing new systems in order to meet the demands of the growing business.

With Laura taking a lead in the company Hayley Windows will maintain the ethos her father began as well as making sure company remains at the forefront of new and exciting developments in the home improvements industry.
