For this month’s feature we have decided to present a striking before and after installation, it is very exciting to be showcasing this project in all of its glory!
Our customers have been living and making their house a home for the past year, giving every room a face lift one by one. With the interior near complete they set their sights on the windows, doors and roofline works. There has been no part of the house unturned investing in high quality products throughout. With the customer having done plenty of research and having a clear idea of what they wanted, we then assisted with fine tuning the design details and technical factors.
The installation includes three Composite Solidors, The Residence Collection Seamless Weld (R7s) windows, French doors and Free Foam roofline products.
The transformation was always going to be bold due to replacing the current dark wooden windows; it was no question that white would be the internal colour lightning up each room. Going from dark wood to white externally was never on the agenda nor was staying with a wood effect finish. So research into colours started and the decision to go with Anthracite grey has turned out a treat! The flush Residence Collection casements effortlessly create a modern finish with clean straight lines, paired with the classic Ludlow 2 front door the property has taken on its new modern features without being too overpowering.
The clean lines continue inside complementing the stylish interior decor, the customers were amazed at the difference of having white internal windows. The rooms are brighter and look bigger; the flush windows are simple and disappear into each room. The addition of the pear drop handles in polished chrome has finished off each window with a delicate touch of class.
This has been a fantastic project to follow from the early design stages through to installation. Seeing a home develop new characteristics and personality is why we love what we do! Working with customers who have a passion and enthusiasm to use high quality products and be a little daring make it all the more exciting to see the finished installation!
