Celebrating a year in business!
We are really excited to be sharing and celebrating Spring Forward Landscaping Ltd's first year of trading! One of the main reasons for starting this blog was to learn about the fantastic new local businesses surrounding us and understanding the people and stories behind them!
Adam is going from strength to strength with his business, as a mark of his first year of trading as a Ltd company he will be exhibiting at the Festival Of Business at Chateau Impney this Friday and is investing in updating his website.
Adam has a rich history of experience ranging from working at the renowned Bodenham Farm & Arboretum in Wolverley where he was given the opportunity to study at Pershore College gaining chainsaw and chemical spray licenses. Achieving these qualifications opened up the opportunity to join Network Rail growing his skill sets. Missing his green fingers, Adam returned to his passion of gardening and landscaping becoming self employed for a couple of years.
At this stage in Adam’s life it did not feel right to push on a self employed basis and was ready to grow his skill set and gain further work experience, so returned to full time employment, having the opportunity to share his passion and knowledge with the next generation. He took on the role of a brickwork technician at Heart Of Worcestershire college. Finally he then progressed a few years on getting back outdoors and into his preferred environment working as a gardener maintaining the Police HQ in Worcester.
Adam now being in his mid twenties thought there was no better time to push on and set up on his own again. Full of passion, energy and desire to build a successful future for his wife and four children, with the vision that his boys would help run and maintain the family business in years to come!
On September 1st 2018 Adam left the Police HQ, he had sourced a van and had a small client base to get started with 10 days of work booked in. Ever since his client base and business has grown, this is down to long hours, dedication, networking and building strong contacts within the industry. Building a website, creating a logo and brand helped accelerate the business in a professional manor, by April the decision was made to go Ltd and now Adam is in a position to be taking on an apprentice.
There are a variety of options and designs when it comes to landscaping, Adam and his team are experienced across the board and specialise in creating beautiful paving areas with an abundance of materials from Indian sandstone to Limestone. The team also offer fencing installations and lawn renovations and creations from natural to artificial. I have learnt from getting to know Adam and his business the options with garden design can be endless and extremely creative!
